Grape Varieties: 50% Alicante Bouschet (from 60+-year-old vines in Estremoz), 25% Syrah, 15% Petit Verdot and 10% Touriga Nacional Tasting Notes: Aged for 12 months in new French oak. This wine has a fair bit of power, but it is easily approachable now. It seems very serious and stern yet somehow still expressive. Spice and secondary flavors of camphor and aromas of tobacco and undergrowth give this wine a complexity that is worthy of attention. The expression of Alicante here is gorgeous.
