100% Riesling. Renowned as one of the best white grape varieties in the world, Alsace Riesling is an excellent food wine. In addition to pairing naturally with traditional Alsace dishes such as Choucroute and pork-based dishes, it has a natural affinity with fish and shellfish, seafood, such as scallops, gracefully highlighting the salty, almost iodine flavours of the sea. It is also delicious with poultry, white meats and even goat cheese.
Tasting Notes:
The expression is still a little shy but it is fine, floral, lemony, aerial. On the palate, one feels a slightly round balance but this sweetness is supported by a beautiful acid structure, straight, balanced and fine. The flavors are on citrus zests, mandarin, with a small mineral finish that brings a touch of complexity.
